We're in the home stretch and I decided it was time to post what we've done and where we've been. So here is a very brief synopsis:
Leave Grapevine on February 11 and overnighted in Natchitoches, LA.
Second night out was in Starkville, MS
Third night out was in Huntsville, AL
Toured Rocket Center and stayed in the attached campground for 2 more nights.
Overnight in Pensacola, FL
Overnight in Marianna, FL
Two nights in Yellow Jacket RV Park on the gulf coast side of the state
Arrived in Tampa Bay RV Park on February 20 and planned to stay only 2 weeks.
Quick trip via American to Phoenix to welcome Charlotte
Left Tampa Bay and arrived Daytona on March 6 for Bike Week
Left Daytona and headed back to Tampa Bay South RV
Left and arrived Sunshine Key (Big Pine Key) March 21. Only stayed a week.
Left The Keys and arrived Lakeland RV. Only stayed one night and went back to Tampa Bay
Attended Sun N Fun on April 11
Attended Top Gun RC competition on May 1 and May 4
Left Tampa Bay and overnight in Warner Robbins, GA
Toured the Warner Robbins AFB air museum
Drove to Kitty Hawk and toured the site of the Wright Brothers first powered flight
Overnight in Beckley, WV
Two nights south of Louisville, KY
Attended the races at Churchill Downs
Arrived Jackson Center, OH on May 12 for maintenance on the AS
Two nights in Sand Springs RV park outside of Morgantown, WV. Met Collin for lunch.
Overnight in Erie, PA with a visit to Maggie McMahon
Overnight in Binghampton, NY
Toured the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY
Overnight in Saratoga Springs, NY
One week in Old Orchard RV park, Maine. Rained every day.
Two nights in Saratoga Springs, NY
Two nights in Niagara Falls, NY
One more night in Erie, PA
Four nights in Cherry Hill RV Park, College Park, MD
Eleven nights in Misty River RV Park, Walland, TN (outside Knoxville)
Yes, we've been all over the east coast for four months. Now its time to head home to Grapevine.
